The evening
A Diwali supper above the city with clay lamps on every ledge, a family recipe menu and fireworks timed to the last course.
The brief
A family Diwali for ninety, hosted on a London rooftop with three generations at the table and one rule from the grandmother: the food had to taste like home.
The night
We lined every ledge with clay lamps, cooked the family recipes with a guest chef and timed the fireworks over the river to the last course of sweets.
